Closed Sales Down ~10%: As expected for this time of year, overall finalized sales have cooled off.

Days on Market: Homes are now taking an average of just over 30 days to sell.

Interest Rates & Buyer Demand: While bond yields have pushed mortgage rates higher recently, mortgage purchase applications surprisingly jumped 3.6% last week. This usually signals that buyers are getting off the sidelines early to prepare for the fall market!
We’re moving through the typical late-summer slowdown, but all eyes are forward as we head toward autumn.
