Stubborn, stubborn, stubborn.  The 10yr yield continues to be stubborn amongst all the economic data that has been coming out and continues today.  We have CPI numbers being reported this morning and the FOMC rate update and decision on the same day.  Today is very likely to be a volatile day for the 10yr yield.  Thursday morning will provide some new clarity on the 30yr mortgage rates, so let's see how all the information is digested in the markets before rushing to judgment. 
On the real estate market side, not much has changed from last week.  We continue to get new listings to the market and older, mispriced homes staying on longer.  This provides a lot of opportunity for those willing to sift through inventory.  Here's the thing, not only am I sifting through searches for my active clients every morning, but I am also sending out close to 100 letters per week to targeted homes in their preferred neighborhoods trying to get something off market before it even hits the open competition.  There's levels to this game, and who you work with matters.

I will be attending Tom Ferry's Roadmap Tour tomorrow.  I plan on learning a lot, and look forward to implementing even more innovative strategies for both seller and buyer clients.
