We are back! We had a great family trip to Disneyland early last week. It was the kids first time. They did really well both days, and we all had an awesome time. We definitely learned some things about the Genie+ pass and Disneyland vs. CA Adventure. So, if you have your own trip coming up soon or later this year, send me an email or give me a call, I'd love to share our tips and tricks from this trip.
On to real estate, my new listing had an incredible showing this past weekend during the open house periods. Tons of people showed up, toured and explored the home. Busy open houses are always so fun for me. I love hearing everyone's opinions on the house and how they would improve it or make it their own. The other cool part is really seeing the individuals, groups or couples that come back multiple times really taking their due diligence serious. Listing agents that don't do open houses on their own listings are really missing out. I prefer to do my own on the first weekend. The other thing I like to do for my listings is call and invite the neighbors. We probably had 10-12 sets of neighbors come out this weekend. For me, that's a really strong sign of a neighborhood, and it also gives the opportunity to the neighbors to invite their friends or family that may want to live closer to each other to check it out with them.
More economic data later this week, we'll see how they affect mortgage rates next week and look forward to the rest of March.
